The 2008 plenary workshop at the APABIS annual conference will focus on developing a list of MBA Graduate Attributes to be encouraged in Business Schools across the Asia Pacific. The workshops will be structured around the core curricula elements of an MBA course. Importantly, the workshop will be designed to draw on the expertise and experience of delegates from all sectors to develop a robust list of preferred graduate attributes. We encourage wide participation in this significant scoping process.

 

The outcome of the workshop will be the publication of the lists of preferred graduate attributes for sustainable business practices for each of the core curricula elements of an MBA. This resource will provide a strong basis to underpin activities in business schools across the Asia Pacific to strategically approach curricula renewal for sustainable development. It can also serve as a basis for training for current business managers.

 

The outcomes of the workshop will underpin one of three Flagship Initiatives of APABIS: ‘Developing managers and practitioners for sustainable business futures'.
